Hi everyone! I have decided to open up the studio for some fun events this summer!! Mondays-Thursdays will be filled with hair & makeup workshops, photography classes, ladies day out, arts & crafts and other paint projects. The calendar will be posted shortly** So please leave a comment if you'd like to stay in the loop for future events.

Select Fridays will be open for summertime themed mini sessions (think-Lemonade stand..yum! or a day at the beach!) These will be $175 and include five of your favorite images. The full gallery may be purchased for $150.

Book 4 or more friends on the same day and you each receive $50 off your full gallery!

DATES: Available on the hour from noon-7pm. Sessions are 20 minutes

We want to kick off our brand new studio in the Benicia Art District, so come by and celebrate with us! We will provide some activities for the kids while they wait, hot cocoa and light snacks. Parents:

Bring the kids in their best holiday jammies for a complimentary portrait session that will be be decorated for the holidays. You will receive one print with the matching digital file.

  You may not recognize her here, but this is my favorite big afro'd makeup artist Stefani and her handsome new hubby Joe!

I love Stefani's energy and spunk. She has been such a key component of my business growing this year, and I am SO blessed to have met her.

The wedding was a simple intimate ceremony held at the Hayward Japanese Garden on a Thursday afternoon. Yep. 10/11/12 Now, there is no excuse for forgetting their anniversary date! As usual, I got teary eyed as her daddy presented her to Joe and they stood there before us dedicated their lives to the Lord and each other.

The reception was covered with handmade items and each centerpiece was unique. Did I mention she even made her bouquet? So cute, and I'm going to Pin that for myself! haha

Families + Vendors, get your images here! http://hhhints.meobaaklini.com/ Cute kids in costumes + sugar to fuel the event! Whew--this was a whirlwind day for me. This was the second year I shot the candid's for Hilarie's Helpful Hints Munchkin Masquerade Parade at the Sports Basement in Walnut Creek. I went in this year with the idea that I was shooting for this stop motion video. There were over 650 families, and the only way to show off the energy and fun level was to throw over 1,000 images into a 3 minute video!

For families and vendors, there are a couple offers still available.

1. Receive a complimentary 5x7 from the event by 11/11/12. Fill out the contact form here and make sure to include your image number from the gallery and mailing address.

The Fashion for Freedom event was a fashion show to help raise awareness and fight human trafficking. All event proceeds went towards SoDE, a non-profit organization with a goal of creating sustainability and changing economic situations in order to be part of the solution in ending sex-trafficking.  

Over 10 designers showcased their single garments and collections in an amazing way.

I got to setup backstage to take the girls headshots, and then from the sidelines just for fun.
